| Guys, guys, guys...I have some sad news.
This xanga site is leaving.
I just don't have an attachment to it anymore, nor a desire to write of the trivial messings of the day.
Thanks for reading this much. I appreciate the ppl who appreciated this site.
Holla to some peeps out there! Stella - gimme a call! You're stupid boyfriend (hi Drew ) doesn't check his voicemail.
I should be online (sarahd511) a lot more once I get back to my dad's house (I'm at the grandfolks'). Just so naling knows .
Peace - I'm out for good.

| Hey there folks! Long time no xanga.
Well I just got done spending a fabulous six days in Florida - got a tan, saw dolphins, hung out with the parents, and watched Golden Girls - could I ask for more?
It was really cool. I didn't think it would feel homey, but it did - I think that's cuz it still has all the same home furnishings.
Hanging out with the parents was really relaxing, and, although we ran aground, we had a really nice boat trip to Chino Island.
Mom now has battle scars from these nasty shells that the waves tossed her onto at a beach on Captiva.
I really can't wait to go back down there for a month.
Did no work whatsoever in Florida - got some done on the plane and at the library, so we'll see how much that is when I go to the study group tonight!
Final tomorrow (Calc 3) and one on Monday (Spanish) and then my first year of college will be complete. *sigh*
Btw, Taco Taco is good, but not the best. Sorry!

| Beautiful Thursday and Friday! Sunshine for everyone! Don't I sound like Cat? jk
Soo much work this weekend (that was for Cat too).
I hope everyone has fun at the Gala!
That's all for today...

| I'm already mad today with my Spanish class - Intermediate Spanish w/ Dr. Woods = teach yourself Intermediate Spanish.
Anywho, I was reading parts of "Where the Sidewalk ends" (I'd underline, but I don't know how), and I ran across a couple of shady things...
First, the picture on the back of Shel Silverstein is WAY creepy. One of his poems has always bothered me:
“Hug O’ War”
I will not play at tug o’ war.
I’d rather play at hug o’ war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.
That is SOOO shady - I would never walk up to anyone and be like, "Hey - wanna play hug o' war?" OH! and as if that wasn't enough, I just happened to look at the copyright thing, and does anybody know who copyrights this thing? EVIL EYE Music, Inc. - Tell me that means nothing! I dare you!
Good lunch w/ Joyce and folks - I don't ever get to do it, so this was nice. At least I know some people are going to the TMN Gala thingy.
Don't...want...to...dance...aerobically...

| Only have ten minutes to write before the date changes, so here's a quick recap....
Saturday: lazed around my dad's house until i got back to SA at about 11ish. Nancy, Albert, and I "flew" (I use that term loosely) kites on Prassel roof and pushed Tom around. Hung out w/ Nubs - good, good times.
Sunday: went to church (my first Easter service) which was aaaawesome, and FINALLY had lunch at about 3pm ( jk ya, Nubs). Had dinner at Gene's and really am starting to take a liking to John Parker, and I'm really wishing I knew Yvette better already.
TODAY! Whew, I've at least made it this far.
Went to psychology today where we discussed gender (very interesting), and then calculus where he taught the whole class over something that's not in the book. Last day of visiting ISA for the practicum ( ) I'm gonna miss it there, to be truthful. Gave my shadow student a book on animal careers cuz I don't need it and I know she wants to be a vet.
Dinner w/ the lovely Cat, then attended a meeting w/ my education group. We are getting prepared, finally, for our presentation on Wednesday.
Made it late to a very interesting Bible study - so many cool questions were brought up. I really wished we had more time to talk about them (I got the privilege to talk about ideas afterwards, but still).
Currently working and then sleep - no kites tonight
Later all! Sarah | | |
